There’s a place here in Sacramento called Fairytale Town, inspired by Humpty Dumpty, Mother Goose, The Old Woman in the Shoe, and tons more story classics. They have a few fabulous gardens scattered through out the vicinity (the alphabet garden was my favorite), lots of slides for the kids, and animals (including goats!!)!
Fairytale town has a very clear rule upon entry: “Adults must be accompanied by children”. Due to this rule, I have never had the opportunity to attend this Sacramento children’s attraction due to age(talk about discrimination! I’m just a kid at heart) and not having kids. Well, when your best pal on the planets day job is taking care of two adorable kiddos, what do you do? Go on a field trip with them to Fairytale Town!
We had a blast voyaging through the park, chasing ducks, hanging out with The Cheese Stands Alone. What a terrific day! Lucky for me I got to snap away! Here are my favorites from the day!
